Via One Mile at a Time, you can once again get 80,000 Hilton points with the AMEX Hilton Surpass card.

This Is the Highest Sign-Up Bonus We’ve Ever Seen for the AMEX Hilton Surpass Card and Now It’s Back!

To get the 80,000 Hilton points, sign-up for the AMEX Hilton Honors card  and spend $3,000 on purchases within the 1st 3 months of opening your account.  This deal expires May 5, 2015.

So should you sign-up for this card?

You can earn 80,000 Hilton points with the AMEX Hilton Honors Surpass card through May 5, 2015.  To get the bonus, spend $3,000 on purchases within the 1st 3 months of opening your account.

You’ll also get:

  • Free Hilton Gold elite status (free breakfast and internet)
  • Free Hilton Diamond status when you spend more than $40,000 in a calendar year (better upgrades)
  • 12 points for every $1 you spend at Hilton hotels
  • 6 points per $1 you spend at US restaurants, US supermarkets & US gas stations
  • 3 points per $1 you spend on most everything else
  • Terms and limitations apply

The $75 annual fee is NOT waived.

This is a great card for folks who have a lot of paid Hilton stays.  That’s because you’ll earn the most points per dollar spent at Hilton with the AMEX Hilton HHonors Surpass card.

I also like this card because it comes with Hilton Gold status, which includes free breakfast.  So this can save you at ~$20 to ~$30 per day!

Is This a Good Deal?

While 80,000 Hilton points may seem like a lot, Hilton award stays also cost a lot of points. So those points may not get you as far as you might think!

That’s because 80,000 Hilton points is only enough for 1 night at top-tier hotel.

You’ll Only Get 1 Free Night at the Hip Hilton Syon Park in London

However, you can make your points last longer with budget-friendly hotels like Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden Inn.

You Could Stay 8 Nights at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hanoi, Vietnam

That said, my favorite Hilton card is still the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve card.  That’s because you’ll earn 2 free weekend nights at (almost) any Hilton after you spend $2,500 in purchases in the 1st 4 months.

You Could Use Free Nights From the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve Card to Stay at the Conrad Maldives Which Could Otherwise Cost You Over $1,000 per Night!

Plus, you’ll earn another free weekend night when you spend over $10,000 on the card in a calendar year.

The annual fee is higher at $95, but in my opinion it’s well worth it!

However, if you’ve already have the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve card, this AMEX Hilton Honors Surpass card might be a good option!

Bottom Line

The highest sign-up bonus ever for the AMEX Hilton Honors Surpass card is back!  You can earn 80,000 Hilton points when you spend $3,000 on purchases within the 1st 3 months of opening an account.

I still prefer the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve card.  But the AMEX Hilton Honors Surpass card may be a good option for folks who have a lot of paid Hilton stays.

When you click the link for One Mile at a Time, the link has a malware bug. It opens a window in Chrome saying your computer is infected and needs fixing. May want to check that out.

I would call them and ask them nicely if they can give you that offer. It happened to me before, I asked, and I got it.

Oh man, the wife and I each just applied for this on Sunday under the 60k offer. Anybody ever have any luck in getting a new offer applied to a new account that’s only 2-3 days old?
