This is 30,000 miles more than the usual link for the Bank of America Virgin America card. But you also have to spend $9,500 more to get the bonus!

Is This a Good Deal?
The other Virgin Atlantic sign-up bonus is for 45,000 miles when you spend $2,500 within 3 months.
With this new offer you will get 30,000 more miles for spending $9,500 more on the card. That’s a LOT of spending! So is it worth it?
It really depends on how much Virgin Atlantic miles are worth to you based on your travel habits. And if you are comfortable with completing this amount of spending. Spending $2,000 a month for 6 months can be easier if you use some of these ways to complete the minimum spending.
What Can You Get With an Extra 30,000 Virgin Atlantic Miles?
With 75,000 Virgin Atlantic miles you could book a Premium Economy award seat instead of a coach seat on a flight from the US to London.
30,000 extra miles could also get you nearly halfway to a 2nd economy ticket from the US to London. But I don’t place a high value on Virgin Atlantic miles (when you use them for coach flights) because Virgin Atlantic award tickets come with high fees.
For example, you will pay ~$500+ in fees on a round-trip transatlantic flight. But they often have lots of award seats available!
I prefer transferring them to Hilton, even though that’s not as good of a deal anymore. You can transfer Virgin Atlantic miles to Hilton at a 2:3 ratio. So 75,000 Virgin Atlantic miles will get you ~112,500 Hilton points.
With 67,500 Hilton points you can get a free night at a category 7 or 8 hotel like the Hilton Waikoloa Village.
And with ~95,000 Hilton points you get a free night at a top tier Hilton hotel like the Conrad Maldives.
However, I would rather sign-up for the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve Card an earn 2 free weekend nights after spending just $2,500 within 4 months.
These are just a couple of examples of what you can do with an extra 30,000 Virgin Atlantic miles, but there are many different possibilities depending upon your travel goals.
You can now get 75,000 Virgin Atlantic miles when you sign-up for the Virgin Atlantic card and spend $12,000 with 6 months and add 2 authorized users.
This is a LOT of spending! I have some tips to help you meet the minimum spending on credit cards, but do what you feel comfortable with!
This could be a good deal depending on your travel goals and spending habits. However, you could miss out on signing-up for offer on other cards if you are spending a lot of time trying to earn the bonus on this card.
