The Marriott Bonvoy Boundless™ Credit Card currently offers 75,000 Marriott points after spending $3,000 in the first three months of account opening. There is currently no better way to earn Marriott points; it’s one of the best hotel credit card offers. Marriott points are extremely flexible. You can use them to stay at 6,000+ hotels across the world, and also transfer Marriott points them to airlines other points can’t go, like Alaska Airlines. It’s one of my favorite ways to use Marriott points.

Marriott Bonvoy Boundless credit card’s 75,000 point offer

With the introduction peak and off-peak pricing to the Marriott award chart, the cost of an award night can vary greatly. For example, the difference between peak and off-peak prices at a top-tier Category 8 hotel is 30,000 points. This could present opportunities for deal hunters, but if your travel isn’t as flexible, then you might get stuck paying more.

These changes also impact the annual free-night certificate you earn on every cardmember anniversary with the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless, because it’s valid at hotels costing up to 35,000 points per night. This means you won’t be able to use the free night at Category 5 hotels on peak days (which costs 40,000 points during peak days). Even so, the free-night certificate alone could justify paying the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card’s annual fee of $95. Another one of the best ways to use Marriott points is by taking advantage of the “Stay 5 pay for 4” deal (formerly the fifth night free) where when you book five nights with points the cheapest night is free.

I love Marriott points because they transfer to 40+ airlines and most of these transfers are at a 3:1 ratio. In addition, you’ll get 15,000 bonus Marriott points added to every 60,000 points you transfer. In most cases, that’s an extra 5,000 miles, so a 60,000-point transfer would convert to 25,000 miles. And the Bonvoy Boundless card also gets you 15 elite night credits every year you keep the card, which will give you a head start on earning top-tier Marriott Bonvoy elite status.
