The no-annual-fee Hilton Honors Card from American Express had a sign-up bonus of 60,000 Hilton points that was set to expire today. But it’s been extended to December 29, 2016. (I wonder if that’s a misprint on their application page or a just a very long limited-time offer! 😉 )

That said, this is NOT my favorite Hilton card.
I like the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve card the best because you can earn 2 weekend night certificates at Hilton hotels.
Hilton hotels include Conrad, DoubleTree, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Home2Suites, Homewood Suites, and Waldorf Astoria brand hotels.A Good Card With a Good (but Not Great) Bonus
But for a no-annual-fee card, the AMEX Hilton is a solid choice. You’ll earn 60,000 Hilton points after spending $750 on purchases within your 1st 3 months of being approved.
Hilton award nights start at 5,000 points. Or use ~60,000 points to stay a night at a hotel such as the Hilton Paris La Defense in December.
I also like that the AMEX Hilton gives you Silver Elite status which enables you to get the 5th night free when booking standard rooms with points.
See my earlier post about the AMEX Hilton 60,000 point offer for my full review of the card.Better Bonus, Different Bank, Still No Annual Fee
Although, you can earn 75,000 Hilton points with the Citi Hilton HHonors Visa Signature Card. It too has no annual fee. Here’s my review.
And remember, there are many ways to earn Hilton points, besides their 4 credit cards.

Bottom Line
The AMEX Hilton card‘s 60,000 Hilton point sign-up bonus was set to expire today. But it’s been extended to December 29, 2016.
Although it’s not my favorite Hilton credit card, I do like that you get Silver Elite status without paying an annual fee. That way you can get the 5th night free when booking standard rooms with points.
And of course you get access to money-saving AMEX Offers.
Emily and I don’t receive compensation for this card but we’ll always let you know the best ways to get Big Travel!
