In the market for Alaska Airlines miles?  I have good news!

Here’s more about this deal!

Earn a Bonus When You Buy Alaska Airlines Miles

Link:   Buy Alaska Airlines Miles

Through April 6, 2017, you can get up to a 40% bonus when you buy Alaska Airlines miles.  A possible 24,000 bonus miles!

You will only get a bonus if you purchase at least 10,000 miles.  You’ll get:

You Can Buy Miles for as Low as ~2.1 Cents Each

You can buy up to 60,000 Alaska Airlines miles per transaction.  And there’s no limit to the total number of miles you can buy.  So do the math to see what makes sense for you!

You’ll get the best value if you buy at least 40,000 Alaska Airlines miles with a 16,000 mile bonus.  You would receive 56,000 miles, and pay $1,182 (after taxes), or ~2.1 cents per point ($1,182 in cash / 56,000 Alaska Airlines miles).

That’s not exactly a “steal”, so this deal is likely only worth it for folks who need to top off their account for a particular award ticket.  Or for folks who want to fly First Class at a discount.

For example, you could fly First Class on Cathay Pacific from the US to Southeast Asia for 70,000 Alaska Airlines miles one-way.

With a 40% bonus, you could buy 50,000 Alaska Airlines miles for ~$1,478 and get a 20,000 mile bonus, for a total of 70,000 Alaska Airlines miles.

You Can Buy Enough Alaska Airlines Miles to Fly First Class for a Fraction of the Cash Price of the Same Ticket

Paying ~$1,478 for a one-way First Class ticket to Asia is a great deal!  Because if you were to buy a First Class ticket, you could easily spend $6,000+.

Remember, you can also use Alaska Airlines miles for flights on other partner airlines, like Delta and Emirates.  And read my post about how to use fewer miles for short flights with Alaska Airlines’ new award chart.

Bottom Line

When you buy Alaska Airlines miles through April 6, 2017, you’ll get a bonus on the miles you purchase.  But you’ll have to buy at least 10,000 miles to get a bonus.  You’ll get:

This deal probably isn’t worth it for most folks, unless you have a specific award ticket in mind.  Or unless you want to fly Business or First Class at a discount.  As always, do the math to see what makes sense for you!
