Step 1 – Link Your Citi ThankYou Card to Amazon

To link your Citi ThankYou card to Amazon, just sign-in to your Amazon account.  Then visit the Citi Shop with Points page.

Step 2 – Shop

Add items that cost $10 or more to your cart.  Amazon gift cards are excluded.  But you can purchase gift cards to other retail stores and restaurants.

You Can Buy Gift Cards to Places Like Nordstrom, Petco, Sports Authority, and Starbucks

Step 3 – Select Your Card and Enter the Promotional Code

Once you have added the items you’d like to purchase to your cart, select the Citi ThankYou card you’d like to pay with.  Then enter any number of points you want to use towards your total.

Bottom Line

Use your Citi ThankYou points to make a purchase of $10 or more on Amazon and get a $10 credit.  You can use as little as 1 Citi ThankYou point to qualify for the credit.

SWP10TYP – The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase

Not working for me.

Linked with citi Forward successfully, but still couldn’t checkout using thankyou points, showing balance unavailable. Contacted both thankyou.com and amazon.com, but they had no clue why. :<

Worked for me when purchasing a book. Thank you Preferred. I haven’t used points on Amazon before.
