You can get 70,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points after spending $5,000 in the 1st 3 months on the Chase Ink Plus card.
The Chase Ink Plus card is 1 of my favorite cards because you get:
- 5X Chase Ultimate Rewards points per $1 you spend at office supply stores, and on cable, internet, and wireless purchases
- 2X Chase Ultimate Rewards points per $1 you spend at gas stations and hotels (booked directly with the hotel)
- NO foreign transaction fees (great for using outside the US)
If you’re a Big Spender, you can earn 250,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards point at office supply stores each year.
70,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards Points gets you $875 worth of travel booked through the Chase Ultimate Rewards Mall. Although I prefer to transfer my Chase Ultimate Rewards points to airline and hotel partners. That’s because you can get First Class flights and great hotels that way.
But some folks like the simplicity of quickly saving 20% in redeemed points on nearly any flight.
Emily and I love using Chase Ultimate Rewards points for flights and hotel stays. We transferred Chase Ultimate Rewards points to United Airlines and flew Business Class to India.
When you transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to airlines, your travel plans should be flexible. Because it can be hard to find flights to popular destinations during peak dates.

This is a popular route during a peak travel time so it might be hard to find award seats when transferring points to airline mileage programs. But you won’t have that problem when you use your points through the Chase Ultimate Rewards mall.
