Wow, I really wish I was targeted for that Whole Foods promo from the image!

For my husband for 2013-2015 YTD- $170, $100 of which is 2015. For me for 2013-2015 YTD $370, $175 of which is 2015. And we aren’t big shoppers. A chunk of this came from the Verizon and Nextel offers this year.

I’m at $510. A couple hotel redemptions, a couple airline redemptions and the 5X at Target helped at Target were big winners for me.

In two years my husband and I saved $741. Not bad for not using that many offers!

If you manufacture spend, buying gift cards and liquidating them, you have made thousands likely. However, Amex has cracked down, at least in the last 3-4 months and those kind of deals have dried up. Twitter deals are also shrinking and with the No Credit Small Business Sat, Amex might be catching on. You might actually have to use the cards for their intended purposes! LOL. Still with the amount of regular deals out there over the course of a year, it’s hard to say the annual fees aren’t justified. You should be able to get those back at least in savings.
