How You Can Use Your Starwood Card Bonus

One thing I love about Starwood is the 5th night free perk.  You’ll get the 5th night free when you book consecutive award nights.

Starwood’s 5th night free benefit only applies to Starwood Category 3 to 7 hotels.  And you do NOT need elite status with Starwood to take advantage of this perk!

You’ll have between 40,000 and 43,000 Starwood points after completing the minimum spending requirements.

6 Nights at Category 3 Hotels

With 35,000 Starwood points, you can get 6 nights free at any category 3 hotel.  Those hotels cost 7,000 Starwood points per night.

And with the 5th night free benefit, 6 nights will cost you 35,000 points (7,000 points per night X 5 nights plus 1 night free).

5 Nights at Category 4 Hotels

Category 4 hotels cost 10,000 points per night.  So with 40,000 Starwood points, you can book a 5-night stay using the 5th night free perk (10,000 points per night X 4 nights plus the 5th night free).

5 Free Hotels With Points

Here are 5 fun Starwood hotels where you can use your Starwood bonus to get 5 free nights!

2.   W Atlanta Buckhead

W hotels have a modern, young vibe, and the W Atlanta Buckhead is no different.  It’s more of a nightlife hotel, and folks enjoy the terrace and bar, Whiskey Blue, for drinks and social gatherings long after the restaurants have closed.
