How to Earn a Sign-Up Bonus With the AMEX Blue Business Plus

Link:   My Review of The Blue Business℠ Plus Credit Card from American Express

The AMEX Blue Business Plus does NOT currently come with a sign-up bonus.  But now there’s a way to earn at least 10,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points when you open the card and meet minimum spending requirements!

This card is worth a look, because it earns valuable AMEX Membership Rewards points that you can transfer directly to valuable travel partners, like Delta and Singapore Airlines.  And it comes with:

Plus, AMEX business cards do NOT impact your chances of getting certain Chase cards in the future.  That’s because AMEX small business cards do NOT show up on your personal credit report!

Just remember, you only get the opportunity to earn the sign-up bonus on each AMEX card ONCE per lifetime.  So it’s important you get the biggest bang for your application!

Here’s how to earn a sign-up bonus from the AMEX Blue Business Plus card.

1.  Refer-a-Friend

Link:   AMEX Refer a Friend

If you have a friend or family member who already has the AMEX Blue Business Plus, ask them to refer you to the card!  You’ll earn 10,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points after spending $3,000 within the first 3 months of account opening.  And if you’re approved, your friend will get 10,000 bonus points, too!

They can use this link to send you a referral.

10,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points can get you Big Travel if you know how to use them!  For example, you can transfer 10,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points to Delta for a free one-way coach flight between Miami and Toronto.

2.   Targeted 20,000 Point Offer

Some folks have reported receiving a targeted offer for 20,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points after spending $5,000 on the card within the first 3 months of account opening.  So it’s worth checking your mailbox and email junk folder to see if you’re one of the lucky AMEX customers.

Folks have also reported calling AMEX and receiving the same 20,000 point sign-up bonus for a lower spending requirement of $3,000 within the first 3 months of account opening.

Bottom Line

The public link for the AMEX Blue Business Plus card does NOT come with a sign-up bonus right now.  But if you ask a current cardholder to refer you, you’ll both earn 10,000 bonus AMEX Membership Rewards points!  You’ll need to spend $3,000 within the first 3 months of account opening to earn the bonus.

AMEX is also offering some customers 20,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points after spending between $3,000 and $5,000 within the firs 3 months of account opening.  So check your mail to see if you’re targeted!

Emily and I don’t earn a commission when you use refer-a-friend or targeted links.  But as long as you’re getting the best deal, we don’t mind!

Let me know if you’re one of the lucky folks!
