My favorite part of this deal is once you’ve registered your card, you don’t have to think about it again.  And sometimes you get surprise miles and points when you’ve eaten at a restaurant you didn’t even know was on their list!

This is also a great way to keep your miles and points from expiring!

2.   Sign-Up for Visa SavingsEdge

Because the Chase Ink Plus and Chase Ink Cash are Visa business cards, you can register them with Visa SavingsEdge to get automatic discounts at certain retailers, restaurants, car rental companies, and hotels.

The discounts are generally small (usually 1% to 5%), but they’ll show up as a statement credit when you make a purchase at a participating retailer once you’ve registered your card.

For an even better deal, 1st shop through an online portal like Chase Ultimate Rewards, then use your registered Chase Ink Plus or Chase Ink Cash card to get Visa SavingsEdge discounts!

I always check evreward to find out which portals are offering the most cash back or points.

For example, I checked evreward to search for discounts at Super 8 Hotels.  Currently, you’ll get 2.5% cash back from Ebates when you book a Super 8 Hotel stay through their portal.

Humorous to think of you booking a Super 8 after some of the lovely properties you’ve frequented…:) Thank you very much for all the valuable information.

I would add #3, don’t forget to immediately set up your mobile phone and home internet accounts to autopay using your Ink card!

Does this work for the Chase Ink Bold as well, even though it’s discontinued?
