If you’re a business owner, you should strongly consider applying for the Ink Business CashSM Credit Card! Chase is currently offering an increased welcome bonus of $500 cash (50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points) after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months.
And because the card has no annual fee, it won’t cost you anything to keep. This is a huge intro bonus for a no-annual-fee credit card, and I think it’s a no-brainer to apply!
But beyond just the card’s generous welcome bonus offer, you’ll also earn valuable Chase Ultimate Rewards points on your purchases. And you’ll get plenty of extra benefits like extended warranty, purchase protection, and much more!
I’ll go through some of the perks you’ll get as a card member that you may not know about!
Ink Business Cash $500 Welcome Bonus Offer
Apply Here: Ink Business CashSM Credit Card
With the Ink Business Cash, you’ll earn $500 bonus cash back (50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points) after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening. This is the highest offer we’ve ever seen on the card!
And because the card has no annual fee, I think it’s a great choice for any business owner because it won’t cost you anything to keep the card!
Qualifying as a small business owner is easier than you think! Selling items on eBay, tutoring, and doing any type of yard maintenance could make you eligible for small business cards.
As an Ink Business Cash cardholder, you’ll also earn the following:
- 5% cash back (5X Chase Ultimate Rewards points per $1) on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at office supply stores and on phone, internet, and cable TV services each account anniversary year
- 2% cash back (2X Chase Ultimate Rewards points per $1) on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at gas stations and restaurants each account anniversary year
- 1% cash back (1X Chase Ultimate Rewards point per $1) on all other purchases
Now before you apply, you’ll want to be aware of Chase’s 5/24 application rule. If you’ve opened 5+ cards from any bank (NOT counting Chase business cards and these other business cards) in the past 24 months, it’s unlikely you’ll be approved for the Ink Business Cash.
Chase Ink Business Cash Benefits
Outside of the fantastic earning rates for common business purchases, the Ink Business CashSM Credit Card has a number of other benefits you may not be aware of. Here are some of my favorite perks of the card, how they work, and how you can make the most of them!
Combine With Another Eligible Chase Card for More Value
Chase Ultimate Rewards points are my favorite because they’re easy to earn and redeem. With the Chase Ink Business Cash, they’re usually worth just 1 cent per point, so at face value, the intro bonus of 50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points is worth $500 cash.
But if you have another eligible annual-fee Chase credit card, like the Chase Sapphire Preferred®, Chase Sapphire Reserve®, or Ink Business PreferredSM Credit Card, they can be worth much more! This is because you’re able to pool your points with one of these cards and transfer them to any of Chase’s travel partners to book award flights and hotels.
For instance, you’d be able to transfer 50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points to British Airways for 2 round-trip tickets to Hawaii from the West Coast, a value of ~$1,000!
You could also redeem your points through the Chase travel portal for more value. If you have either the Chase Sapphire Preferred® or Ink Business PreferredSM, your points will be worth 25% more when redeemed through the travel portal. And if you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, your points will be worth 50% more!
So if you have the Ink Business CashSM Credit Card along with the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, your welcome bonus of $500 cash (50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points) would be worth $750 if redeemed through the Chase travel portal for airfare, hotels, or car rentals!
Extended Warranty Protection
I love extended warranties because of the extra peace of mind they give me whenever I make a purchase. And for no added cost, you can get this same benefit simply by using the Ink Business CashSM Credit Card to purchase an eligible item!
The extended warranty protection will give you an extra year of warranty protection on eligible items if the original manufacturer’s warranty is 3 years or less. Having this extra year of protection through a credit card can end up saving you quite a bit of money!
A few years ago, I was able to use the extended warranty protection through one of my credit cards to repair a faulty keyboard on my laptop. The repair would have cost me a few hundred dollars, but because I remembered I had an extra year of protection through my credit card, I was able to get reimbursed for the full cost of the repair!
The Ink Business CashSM Credit Card also provides protection against damage or theft for eligible items. There’s no added cost, and you’re covered as long as you purchase the item with the card.
You’ll be covered on new purchases for 120 days, up to $10,000 per claim, and a maximum of $50,000 per account. There are specific time limits and documentation requirements.
Imagine purchasing an expensive item, only to have it stolen a few days later. If you purchased the eligible item with your Ink Business CashSM Credit Card, you’ll at least have some consolation in the fact that you’ll be made whole since you’re covered up to the stated limits, which are really quite high!
Roadside assistance for say, a flat tire, isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when I think of credit card perks, but the Ink Business CashSM Credit Card has you covered here as well! If you don’t have roadside assistance on your auto insurance, you’ll be glad to know that you can call Chase’s roadside assistance at 800-847-2869 to get help. And roadside dispatch can help you with more than just a flat tire! They can also help with:
- Towing services
- Jump starting your car
- Tire change
- Lockout service
- Gas delivery
The terms and conditions state that you’ll be provided the cost of services when you call. Million Mile Secrets contributor Devon made a call to Chase and was informed that the flat fee is ~$70.
It may not be free, but it certainly beats having no help at all!
Primary Rental Car Insurance
It’s not unusual to be on a trip and want to rent a car to have some more freedom in getting around the city. But what do you do when you’re asked whether you want to purchase rental car insurance through the car rental agency? It’s an added cost, but is it worth the extra protection?
Fortunately, if you have the Ink Business CashSM Credit Card, that decision will be much easier! You can rest at ease declining the rental insurance offered by the car rental agency. That’s because the Ink Business CashSM Credit Card offers primary car rental insurance when you rent a car for business purposes.
Some banks offer secondary car rental insurance as a perk of their credit cards, but that coverage only covers what’s left over after you have filed a claim with your primary car insurance provider. You’ll still have to pay your deductible, as well as damage to other cars, property, and injuries to other persons.
Being covered with primary rental car insurance, on the other hand, typically means that the credit card insurance will pick up the tab for physical damage, damage due to theft, and towing charges, and you won’t have to file a separate claim with your personal car insurance company!
The Ink Business CashSM Credit Card is one of my favorite credit cards that I encourage all business owners to apply for. The card has no annual fee, so you can keep the card forever with no added cost.
The Ink Business Cash is currently offering the highest intro bonus I’ve ever seen on this card. You’ll earn a welcome bonus of $500 cash (50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points) after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months.
If you have another eligible Chase card, you could pool your points to get even more value out of the intro bonus.
And on top of strong earn rates for your daily purchases, the card comes with a number of other benefits like purchase protection, extended warranty, primary rental car insurance for business rentals, and more!
