I love fancy hotels – luxury rooms, fun amenities, spas and fine dining.  But, what I don’t love is paying for it all!

That’s where Chase Ultimate Rewards points come in.  These are my favorite type of points because they are easy to earn and use for fancy hotel stays.  You can save thousands of dollars!

I’ll share my top 3 favorite luxury hotel stays using Chase Ultimate Rewards points, and remind you of how easy it is to earn them!

Here’s How to Earn Chase Ultimate Rewards Points

My 3 Favorite Luxury Hotels Using Chase Ultimate Rewards Points

The fun part of our hobby is deciding how you are going to redeem all of those points!  I love luxury hotels (who doesn’t?), but I don’t love paying luxury prices.

Thanks to Chase Ultimate Rewards points, I get to stay in beautiful hotels without spending a dime!  You can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to IHG, Hyatt, Marriott and Ritz-Carlton at a 1:1 ratio, so it’s easy to find a hotel that will fit your budget and style.

Here are my 3 favorite luxury hotel redemptions (so far!).

1.   Miraval Arizona

Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa is an amazing all-inclusive wellness retreat located in Tucson.  This hotel is definitely an aspirational location for most of us, because for 2 people it usually costs ~$1,000 per night!  While that price includes food, activities, and a $175 per person per night resort credit, it’s still a reach for many folks.

Thankfully, Miraval is now part of the World of Hyatt program, which is a Chase transfer partner.  This hotel costs 45,000 Hyatt points per night for 1 person, plus an additional 20,000 points for a second person.  I was able to transfer my Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt for a 2-night stay – and I paid nothing out of pocket!

One of the Things Miraval Is Known for Is the Horse Program Designed by Wyatt Webb. I Got a Chance to Check it out During My Stay

Note:   Through August 31, 2018, you’ll get a 50% rebate when you book the Miraval Arizona with Hyatt points.  Check out how team members Keith and Jason each recently enjoyed an incredible stay here with this promotion!

2.   Grand Hyatt Kauai

Any hotel in Hawaii is going to be nice (because it’s Hawaii!), but I was really looking for a taste of luxury on my recent trip.  Rooms at The Grand Hyatt Kauai cost 25,000 Hyatt points per night for a standard king room, or 33,000 Hyatt points for a room with an ocean view plus Grand Club access (which includes breakfast and snacks throughout the day).

I transferred Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt for a 5-night stay.  The best part is that when you pay for a Hyatt hotel using points, resort fees are included, so there are NO out-of-pocket expenses.

The Grand Hyatt Kauai Is an Impressive Hotel With Stunning Views

This hotel sits on a sprawling 52 acres and includes multiple pools, a lagoon, lazy river, and a waterslide for the little ones!

3.   Costa Rica Marriott San Jose

The Costa Rica Marriott San Jose is a hidden gem, and is probably one of my favorite overall hotel stays ever!  It’s located just minutes from San Jose airport and is a lush oasis in the city.

If you have Gold Elite or higher status with Marriott, you will get access to the Executive Club which offers free breakfast AND dinner (hands down, the best executive club I have ever experienced).  Marriott is a Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer partner, so it’s easy to stay here using your Chase Ultimate Rewards points.  Rooms here are only 30,000 Marriott points a night, but if you book 5 nights with points, your 5th night is free!

Shh!  The Marriott San Jose Costa Rica Is a Hidden Gem!

This hotel is located within a 30-acre coffee plantation!  And if you book during off-peak dates, you can sometimes find Pointsavers rates for 25,000 Marriott points per night.

Bottom Line

Chase Ultimate Rewards points can make luxury travel accessible to everyone.  That’s because you can transfer points to 9 airlines and 4 different hotel brands.  Transferring your points is a great way to get tons of value and lets you experience luxury hotel stays or First Class flights that you might not have otherwise been able to achieve.

I’ve enjoyed memorable stays at top luxury hotels like the Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa, Grand Hyatt Kauai, and Costa Rica Marriott San Jose.  And it was all free thanks to Chase Ultimate Rewards points!

Have you redeemed Chase Ultimate Rewards points for a luxury hotel stay?  What’s been your favorite?
