Hilton hotels include Conrad, Canopy, Curio, DoubleTree, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Grand Vacations, Home2Suites, Homewood Suites, Tru, and Waldorf Astoria brand hotels.
Keep in mind you’ll have at least 109,000 Hilton points after completing the minimum spending requirements on the American Express Hilton Honors Surpass card. And at least 78,000 Hilton points after completing the spending requirements on the AMEX Hilton card.

1. The Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach
Plan a trip to Southern California to enjoy the beautiful weather, outdoor activities, and gorgeous scenery. The Waterfront Beach Resort is a top-rated hotel and a great option for using Hilton points.
Folks on TripAdvisor give high marks to the friendly staff, convenient location, and great restaurants in and around the hotel.
Room rates are ~$818 for a 2-night weekend stay. Or, you can pay 100,000 Hilton points instead to treat yourself and a special someone to a romantic weekend away.
2. Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort
If you’re dreaming of Hawaii, the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is the only beach resort in Waikiki. It has 20 restaurants and lounges, a saltwater lagoon, 5 pools, waterslides, and a spa. You won’t have to leave the resort grounds if you just want to relax!
This is a Hilton category 7 hotel. For a stay in June, you’d pay 50,000 Hilton points per night or ~$805 for two weekend nights. Unfortunately, this hotel charges a resort fee of $30 per night, even on award stays.
Folks on TripAdvisor love the beach location, great staff, and the variety of restaurants here.
I have a friend who has stayed at this hotel and loved it! You can walk into the city of Honolulu (~20 minutes) to visit local bars and restaurants. He said the hotel pool is amazing and the service is outstanding!
It’s also less than a 20 minute drive to Diamond Head which has great views of the city.
3. Hilton Nashville Downtown
Ever been to Music City? Nashville was ranked as Travel & Leisure Readers Choice Destination of the Year. Consider spending a night at the Hilton Nashville Downtown to see Nashville’s popular attractions.
Given the increased popularity of Nashville, prices have gone up as well.
One night in June costs ~$549. Or, you can redeem 70,000 Hilton points. This hotel is near the County Music Hall of Fame, the Nashville Symphony, and great restaurants with Southern-style dishes.
Using points instead of cash is a great option here. Reviewers on TripAdvisor rank this hotel in the top 10 in Nashville and say it’s perfectly located downtown.
4. Hilton Times Square
If you want to stay a night in New York, the Hilton Times Square is centrally located.
The hotel is within walking distance to Broadway theaters, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, Macy’s Herald Square, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, and Restaurant Row.
Folks on TripAdvisor give this hotel good reviews because of the convenient location. The hotel also has panoramic views of New York City and the Hudson River!
Nights in June can cost ~$500 per night. Instead, you could redeem 80,000 Hilton points. You’ll have nearly enough points after you meet the spending requirements on the AMEX Hilton card. That’s a good deal for a card with no annual fee! Plus, you can save money to see a Broadway show!
Emily and I visited New York in 2012 and enjoyed a Broadway show, Times Square, Grand Central Station, and great restaurants.
5. The Beverly Hilton
Ever wonder where the celebrities stay? The Beverly Hilton has hosted US Presidents and famous celebrities throughout many generations.
Room nights in June range from ~$300 to ~$400 per night. Or you can use 60,000 Hilton points.
The Beverly Hilton is within walking distance of shops and restaurants on Rodeo Drive. Or you can head to the sunny beaches in Santa Monica!
