1. IHG Accelerate Spring 2018
You can register now for the latest IHG Accelerate promotion. Once you’re registered, you’ll get a customized offer with different tasks to complete to earn your bonus. You’ll have to complete your tasks between May 1, 2018, and July 31, 2018.
IHG has undergone a lot of changes this year, starting with devaluing lots of hotels and increasing the price of their top-tier locations. And they followed that up by gutting one of the best credit card free night perks.
Though IHG points aren’t worth as much as they used to be, it’s worth signing up for this deal. Because even if you don’t have any paid IHG stays planned, you never know if your plans will change.
Also, take a look at other current hotel promotions, to make sure there isn’t a better deal for your travel goals!
IHG hotels include Candlewood Suites, Crowne Plaza, EVEN Hotels, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Club Vacations, Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn Resorts, Hotel Indigo, Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Hotels, and Staybridge Suites brand hotels.
It’s relatively easy to earn IHG points through the many promotions IHG publishes, or to purchase them cheaply with this trick. IHG hotels are almost everywhere, which is convenient for road warriors. And you can redeem IHG points with one of the best hotel deals, the quarterly PointBreaks promotion, even if it’s not as good as it used to be!
2. Frontier Airlines Penny Sale, Today Only!
Frontier Airlines is having great flash sale with one-way flights for less than $15! The sale ends today, April 12, 2018, and is valid on select routes for travel from April 19, 2018 to May 23, 2018.
I found ~$15 one-way flights from:
- Austin to San Diego
- Atlanta to Salt Lake City
- From 5 cities to Las Vegas
- From 11 cities to Orlando
- Denver to New Orleans
You can see the rest of the discounted routes on the Frontier site. Blackout dates apply. And there are specific exclusions for each route.
Note: Frontier charges fees for things like checked bags, seat selection, and even carry-on bags that go in the overhead bin! And on lots of the sale routes, you’ll end up paying more than the discounted price for your return flight. So as always, be sure the total price is worth it.
