Million Mile Secrets readers love to get Big Travel with Small Money!

And right now, these 5 credit cards most popular with our readers in March 2018.

This list of cards isn’t surprising!  Because until April 11, 2018, the AMEX Delta cards have limited-time all-time high welcomes bonuses!  And AMEX limits you to earning the intro bonus to ONCE per lifetime per card.  So it’s a good strategy to only apply for AMEX cards when the bonuses are the best-ever!

5 Most Popular Credit Card Offers With Our Readers in March!

March has been a good month for miles & points enthusiasts!  We’ve seen AMEX introduce 5 best-ever offers.  Chase introduced one brand new card (Chase Iberia Plus card) and announced plans for another (Chase Aer Lingus card).

Out of the many great travel cards to choose from, these are the 5 y’all have been relying on the most this month to make Big Travel with Small Money a reality for you!

1.   Chase Ink Business Preferred

When you sign-up for the Ink Business Preferred, you can earn 80,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.  This is a very lucrative bonus!  It’s worth $800 in cash back or at least $1,000 toward travel booked through the Chase Travel Portal!

Chase Ultimate Rewards points are my favorite transferable points.  They have a bunch of terrific transfer partners, including Hyatt!

I’ve found Hyatt hotels to have high standards for service and comfort.  And their award chart is very generous, so you can book free nights at lots of amazing Hyatt hotels!

  • 3X Chase Ultimate Rewards points for every $1 you spend on travel, shipping purchases, internet, cable and phone services, advertising purchases made with social media sites, and search engines (up to a maximum of $150,000 in combined purchases per account anniversary year)
  • 1X Chase Ultimate Rewards points on all other purchases
  • Up to $600 in cell phone insurance when you pay your cell phone bill with the card
  • Primary auto rental insurance (CDW) when renting for business purposes, plus purchase and extended warranty protection

The $95 annual fee is NOT waived the first year.

Keep in mind, Chase will NOT approve you for most of their credit cards if you’ve opened 5 or more credit card accounts (from any bank) in the past 24 months (NOT counting Chase business cards and these other business cards).

2.   Chase Sapphire Preferred

Link:   My Review of the Chase Sapphire Preferred

The Chase Sapphire Preferred is the #1 card I recommend for beginners in the miles & points hobby.  And it come with a 50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points bonus after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of opening your account.

You can redeem the sign-up bonus for $500 in cash back or $625 in travel when you book through the Chase portal.  And potentially more value if you transfer points directly to airline and hotel partners like United Airlines.

United Airlines is a very valuable airline partner because they generally have lots of available award seats.  And they are part of the Star Alliance.  So you can use United Airlines to book great partner award flights on airlines, like Air New Zealand, Lufthansa, or Thai Airways.
