If you’re a Chase Hyatt cardholder, here’s a great opportunity to get rewarded for your grocery and drug store purchases!

Once you enroll your Chase Hyatt card, you’ll earn a $30 statement credit after making $300 in spending that you’d likely make anyway!  This is an easy deal that takes less than a minute to register for.

Chase Hyatt Cardholders Will Probably Want to Switch Their Grocery Store Purchases to Take Advantage of This Deal!

Here are the details.

Folks with the Chase Hyatt credit card have a great opportunity to earn some easy cash back!  You’ll receive a $30 statement credit after making $300 in qualifying in-store purchases at grocery stores or drug stores through February 28, 2018.

The $300 spending requirement does NOT have to be spent in a single transaction.  And you can only earn one $30 statement credit per account.  So any qualifying purchases made by authorized users will count toward your $300 goal.

Don’t forget, this is NOT a straight 10% cash back offer.  You’ll only earn the $30 statement credit if you make $300+ in qualifying purchases on your Chase Hyatt.  And as long as you register by February 28, 2018, any qualifying purchases made between February 1 and February 28, 2018, will count toward the bonus.  Even if they were made before you registered!

Is This a Good Deal?

This is a nice way to get 10% cash back on purchases you were probably going to make anyway!  And you’ll still get the normal earning rate of 1 Hyatt point per $1 at the same time.

So if you have a Chase Hyatt card, it’s worth registering for the promotion and switching $300 of your grocery and drugstore purchases to the card.  Because even cards with grocery store bonus categories, like the AMEX EveryDay Preferred (3X AMEX Membership Rewards points at US supermarkets up to $6,000; then 1X) or AMEX Blue Cash Preferred (6% cash back at US supermarkets up to $6,000; then 1%) earn far less than 10% in rewards.

The Chase Hyatt card is already worth the $75 annual fee because of the annual Category 1 to 4 free night.  But with deals like this, it’s an even better card to hang onto year after year.

Bottom Line

Chase Hyatt cardholders can earn a $30 statement credit after spending $300+ in combined purchases at grocery stores or drugstores!

You’ll have to register your card by February 28, 2018.  Any qualifying purchases made between February 1, 2018, and February 28, 2018, will count toward the bonus.

This is a quick and easy way to earn 10% cash back on purchases you were going to make anyway!  So if you’re a Chase Hyatt cardholder, it’s definitely worth taking ~30 seconds of your time to register.

I think I registered for this when I first saw it earlier this month, but am not sure. Is there anyplace I can check to validate that it is registered?

Million Mile Secrets

Not that I know of, but you could try calling Chase. Or you could just register again and if you already are registered it might let you know.

Will purchase of gift cards at grocery supermarket apply?

Million Mile Secrets

The terms and conditions state that qualifying purchases "do not charges." But they do not explicitly exclude gift cards. So I can't say for sure one way or the other.

Thanks for letting us know. I have a Hyatt card, but didn't hear anything about this offer. Was it sent to cardholders by email or something?

Million Mile Secrets

You're welcome! I don't know if it was announced through email or not, Hyatt let us know directly.

Yes, I got an email from Hyatt notifying me several days ago
