You can transfer AMEX Membership Rewards points to Hilton points at an increased 1:2 ratio! That’s a 33% increase over the previous transfer ratio. This is a permanent change, NOT a temporary promotion.

Is This a Good Deal?

Overall, this is good news. However, I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to book an award night at Hilton just because of this deal. Award nights at Hilton hotels are typically far more costly than other hotel chains. And there are lots of more valuable uses for your AMEX Membership Rewards points, like award flights to Europe!

If you were already planning a transfer to Hilton, you’ll be able to save points for other great AMEX Membership Rewards points transfers! Citi ThankYou recently dropped Hilton as a transfer partner, so it’s nice to have a better way to top off your Hilton account.
