If you’ve got the AMEX Starwood Small Business Card, click this link and enter your information to see if you’ve been targeted to earn 15,000 bonus Starwood points!

You’ll have between the time you register and December 31, 2017, to spend $15,000 on your AMEX Starwood Small Business Card.

Spending $15,000 by the end of the year isn’t easy for most folks.  But if you can do it, this promotion could be worthwhile.  Because Starwood points are difficult to earn, and extremely valuable.

This promotion is equal to earning 2 Starwood points per $1 (15,000 Starwood points for regular spending + 15,000 bonus Starwood points).  That’s like earning 2.5 airline miles per $1 if you transfer Starwood points to airline miles.  Or 6 Marriott points per $1 if you transfer to Marriott.  And of course, Starwood points can save you hundreds of dollars when redeeming for Starwood hotel stays!

The AMEX Starwood cards are great for regular spending if you want to earn airline miles.  So this promotion makes using the card for everyday purchases an even better deal.

That said, if you’re already working on meeting minimum spending requirements for this or other cards, spending $15,000 in 3 months may be difficult.  So check out my post on how to increase spending on AMEX credit cards to meet requirements like this one!

Bottom Line

If you’re an AMEX Starwood small business cardholder, check here to see if you’ve been targeted to earn 15,000 bonus Starwood points!  To activate bonus, you must register and spend $15,000 on eligible purchases by December 31, 2017.

This is a good deal if you can spend that much money before the end of the year.  Because Starwood points are hard to earn, and can be insanely valuable.

Let me know if you were targeted for this offer!

Would it be better to use Marriott card and just transfer to Starwoods? If I use Marriott, would I have to just spend $5k to get the same amount of points.

SJMOORE. You've got it backwards. One Starwood point=3 Marriott points. Not counting bonus spend, you'd need to spend $90,000 on a Marriott card to get 30,000 Starwood points.
