6000 Starwood Points May 2017
There Are Lots of Ways to Use Starwood Points to Get Big Travel With Small Money!

I’ll show you how to enter!

Through June 15, 2017, you can convert hotel points from 9 hotel programs to American Airlines and receive a 25% bonus.  I usually do NOT recommend transferring hotel points to airlines, because you’ll get much less value per point.  But there are some situations where it makes sense!

For example, Starwood points transfer to American Airlines at a ratio of 1:1.  Plus, Starwood will give you 5,000 miles for each 20,000 point increment you transfer!

So if you transfer 20,000 Starwood points to American Airlines, you’ll end up with 31,250 American Airlines miles (20,000 Starwood points = 20,000 American Airlines miles + 5,000 bonus miles from Starwood + 6,250 bonus miles from American Airlines).

Enter this contest for a chance to win 6,000 Starwood points, which you can convert into 7,500 American Airlines miles with this promotion!

How to Enter

Link:   Click on this post and tell me how you travel using Starwood points

To enter this giveaway, tell me how you use Starwood points to get Big Travel.  Do you convert them into Marriott points for budget hotel stays?  Do you use them for SPG Moments?  Do you transfer them to airline partners?

You MUST click this linked post & comment with your answer on that post (don’t comment on this post!).

You can also complete as many of the other tasks as you want.  You’ll get 1 entry for each item you complete.  But your entries only count if you complete the first step.  The more ways you enter, the more chances you have to win!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

You can enter until May 7, 2017, (Sunday) at 9:00 pm Central Time.

Good luck!

7500 American airline miles will put me over the top for a trip to San Francisco!

I have used Starwood Points to convert to Marriott points because of the 3:1 conversion rates. Last year, we did this and (combined with my regular Marriott points) got to take my 12 year old daughter out of the country for her first time ever, staying at the Ritz Carlton in Kyoto, Japan. The 2 week trip and the Japanese were absolutely incredible, gracious and warm people. My daughter LOVED learning about and experiencing the culture. She is hooked on travel!, and my wife and I are equally excited that she is learning to embrace the similarities and differences in people across the world.

SPG points are the best!!

I would use the starwood points for a trip to Europe.

I would transfer to the airlines to get the 1:1 and then bonus points.
