I’ve mentioned to y’all how The Platinum Card from American Express can get you Starwood Gold elite status.

This is a terrific perk for your Starwood hotel stays.  Because you earn extra bonus points and get late check-outs and room upgrades when available.

But I recently discovered you can gift this perk to someone else.  It’s free to do and takes less than a minute!   This is useful if you already have Starwood elite status.

It appears that this benefit is not available to personal delta airlines platinum amex holders 🙁

Can you also give your Hilton Gold status from Amex Platinum to someone else? Thanks!

I haven’t tried it myself, but I expect it also works for Hilton Gold status.
