How long will the Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Business Credit Card 60,000 point offer last?

Great question!

You can earn 60,000 Southwest points with the Chase Southwest Premier small business card when you spend $3,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of opening your account.

That’s a 10,000-point increase from the previous offer on this card!

Chase has NOT indicated if this is a limited-time offer.  But they can change their mind at any point.

I’ll let you how long I think the Chase Southwest Premier small business 60,000 point offer will last!

With the Chase Southwest Premier small business card, you can earn 60,000 Southwest points after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.

This is the highest sign-up bonus I’ve seen for this card.

You also get:

  • 2X Southwest points on purchases with Southwest
  • 1X Southwest point on all other purchases
  • 6,000 Southwest points on your card anniversary
  • No foreign transaction fees

This card has a $99 annual fee, which is NOT waived the first year.  But the 6,000 Southwest anniversary points are worth ~$86 (6,000 Southwest points X ~1.43 cents each), which helps offset the annual fee.

You’ll need a small business to qualify.  I recently shared 7 quick small business ideas for folks looking to earn business card sign-up bonuses.

The Increased 60,000 Point Chase Southwest Premier Sign-Up Bonus Makes It Easier to Earn the Companion Pass!

And I’ve written how this increased offer for the Southwest Premier small business card makes it easier to earn the Southwest Companion Pass, which Emily and I think is the best deal in travel!

When you open this card and a Chase Southwest Premier or Chase Southwest Plus card, and meet the minimum spending requirements, the points you’ll earn are enough to secure a Companion Pass!

Apply Now or Wait?

Chase has NOT put an end date on the Southwest Premier small business card 60,000 point offer.

But based on experience, I expect Chase will NOT keep it around forever.

Chase was considerate enough to give several weeks notice before reducing the online offer on the Chase Sapphire Reserve.  But it’s possible and likely the sign-up bonus on the Chase Southwest Premier small business card will change without notice.

Chase Hasn’t Given a Timeline for Changing the Southwest Premier Small Business 60,000 Point Sign-Up Bonus. But I Expect the Clock Is Ticking!

So if you’ve been thinking about getting this card, now is a good time to apply.

I find the best strategy for applying for cards is to take advantage of great deals when they’re available.  This does NOT mean applying for an unlimited number of credit cards each week!  I wish we could do that! 😉

But bank application rules and sign-up bonuses are always changing, which make deals harder to get or less appealing.

You Might Have to Skip a Deal If You’re Impacted by Certain Bank Application Rules

For example, it’s tougher to be approved for most Chase cards, including the Chase Southwest cards, if you’ve opened ~5+ cards from any bank (except these business cards) in the past 24 months.

So if you’re waiting to drop below the Chase “5/24” limit before applying for the Southwest Premier small business card, you’ll have to stay patient and hope the sign-up bonus remains the same.

And if it’s not available when you’re ready to apply, know there will be other deals.

Bottom Line

The Chase Southwest Premier small business card sign-up bonus is 10,000 points higher than the regular offer.  You can earn 60,000 Southwest points after meeting minimum spending requirements.

This is the best deal I’ve seen for this card.  Chase has NOT indicated when the sign-up bonus will decrease.  But I expect it will change without notice.

So apply now if you’ve been considering this card.  But be mindful of Chase’s tougher application rules.

Thanks for making me famous.

I applied for the Sapphire Reserve card in January (got automatically approved) and then I applied for this card SW business card and initially got denied. I called their reconsideration line and after a 15 minute grilling I got approved in the mail. How long should I wait until I apply for the personal SW card. 30, 60, or 90 days from he SW business approval?

Million Mile Secrets

You’re welcome! 🙂

I’d probably wait at least 30 days before applying for your next Chase card.

Can you get this offer if you currently have the non-business version. ?

Yes, the personal and small business version are considered different card products.

I applied for and got approved for the 50k deal in January and already met my spend. What are the chances they would bump me up to the 60k deal? Anything in particular I should say when I call Chase?

It doesn’t hurt to call and ask. I’d tell Chase you recently got the card and would appreciate a courtesy of matching to the higher offer. But I can’t guarantee they’ll match the sign-up bonus.

I called yesterday and asked–they said YES! I’m going to wait a month or so and apply for the personal for 50k. That extra 10k helps a lot to the companion pass. I didn’t even know about it until I saw your blog post–thanks!

UPDATE: I have not gotten the extra 10k points and met the additional spend requirement back in February. I have called 3 times over the past few months and they keep escalating it. My account shows that I have earned the points but they haven’t been given to me yet. I’d be interested to know if others got their points.
