The limited-time AMEX Delta card offers expire November 9, 2016.

You can earn 50,000 Delta miles with the Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card and Gold Delta SkyMiles® Business Credit Card after completing minimum spending requirements.

Or earn 70,000 Delta miles with the Platinum Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card and Platinum Delta SkyMiles® Business Credit Card after completing minimum spending requirements.

Keep in mind these are 4 different card offers.  So even if you have one of these cards, you can still apply for one of the other card products.

The increased public sign-up bonus offers on the AMEX Gold Delta and AMEX Platinum Delta personal and small business cards end on November 9, 2016.

You can earn 50,000 Delta miles with the Gold Delta SkyMiles personal and small business cards after spending $2,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening.

And you can earn 70,000 Delta miles after spending $3,000 in purchases on the Platinum Delta personal card or $5,000 in purchases on the Platinum Delta small business within the first 3 months of account opening.

I think these are great offers because the normal sign-up bonus is 30,000 Delta miles with the AMEX Gold Delta personal and business card.  And 35,000 Delta miles with the personal and business version of the Platinum Delta card.

If you already have the personal version of these cards, you can still earn the sign-up bonus on the small business version.  Because these are considered different card products.  And you might qualify for a small business card without realizing it!

Remember, you can spend your way to Delta elite status using the Platinum Delta SkyMiles cards.  This is great for folks who plan to fly a lot with Delta.

And keep in mind, you can only earn the sign-up bonus on each AMEX card ONCE per lifetime.

Use Delta Miles

Although Delta stopped publishing an award chart, you’ll still have plenty of options for booking award flights.  For example, you can use:

• 5,500 Delta miles for a one-way flight from San Francisco to Los Angeles in coach
• 10,000 Delta miles for a one-way flight from New York to Atlanta in coach
• 12,500 Delta miles for a one-way flight from Los Angeles to Orlando in coach
• 30,000 Delta miles for a one-way flight from the US to Sydney in coach
• 70,000 Delta miles for a one-way flight from the US to Europe in Business Class

Or you can redeem Delta miles toward paid tickets a rate of 1 cent per mile.  This way you won’t have to worry about blackout dates.

Plus, Delta miles don’t expire!  So even if you don’t have travel plans now, you can keep them for a future trip!

Bottom Line

To get the increased sign-up bonuses on the personal and small business versions of the AMEX Gold Delta and AMEX Platinum Delta cards, you must apply by November 9, 2016.  

Keep in mind, if you don’t apply by November 9, 2016, you can still get the limited-time AMEX Delta offers through a referral link until February 1, 2017.
