Considering the best-ever offer on the Barclaycard Arrival Plus card? Don’t forget, you can usually only get 1 or 2 Barclaycards per year, so it’s worth comparing a few different Barclaycard cards, to make sure you’re getting the cards that make most sense for you.
For example, if you’re looking for flexibility, the Barclaycard Arrival Plus card is likely your best option. But if JetBlue flies from your home airport, you might consider 1 of the Barclaycard JetBlue cards. Or if you want to earn hotel points, you could apply for the Barclaycard Wyndham Rewards card.
You have options!
So I’ll share the details of the 5 best Barclaycard offers. And help you decide which cards are best for your situation.
Choosing Between Top Barclaycard Deals
Because Barclaycard usually only allows folks to get 1 or 2 Barclaycards per year, it’s worth comparing the sign-up bonuses and perks of the best Barclaycard cards to make sure you’re getting the best card for your situation.
The Barclaycard Arrival Plus card is probably the best deal for most folks. Because it has the highest sign-up bonus and you aren’t restricted to using your miles on just 1 airline, like with the JetBlue cards. It’s also the only card on the list that DOES waive the annual fee the first year.
Barclaycard Arrival Plus
Looking for a flexible card with a great sign-up bonus that waives the annual fee the first year? The Barclaycard Arrival Plus card could be for you!
Currently there’s a best-ever offer for the Barclaycard Arrival Plus card, and you can earn 50,000 Barclaycard Arrival miles after spending $3,000 on purchases within the first 90 days of opening your account.
That’s worth $525 in statement credits towards travel purchases of $100 or more on things like airfare, hotel stays, train tickets, and cruise ships. Because you’ll get 5% of your miles back when you redeem them for travel!
You’ll also get:
- 2X Barclaycard Arrival miles per $1 you spend on all purchases
- No foreign transaction fees
- Chip-and-PIN capability for use overseas
Plus, the $89 annual fee is waived the first year, so you can try it out for ~10 months, then decide if it’s worth keeping.
Here’s my full review of the offer.
Barclaycard JetBlue Cards

Link: JetBlue Business Card
The annual fee of $99 is NOT waived for the first year on either card. But the free checked bag perk, anniversary point bonus, 50% discount on in-flight purchases, $100 statement credit on vacation packages, and 10% redemption point rebate can easily make up for the annual fee.
If you fly on JetBlue a lot, either of these cards would be a great choice. And even though 1 of these cards is a business card, you don’t need millions in revenue to qualify. 😉
Barclaycard Lufthansa Card
With the Barclaycard Lufthansa card, you can earn 20,000 Lufthansa miles after your first purchase & payment of annual fee. And an additional 30,000 Lufthansa miles after spending $5,000 on purchases within first 90 days of account opening.
The $89 annual fee is NOT waived the first year.
But 20,000 Lufthansa miles is enough for a one-way coach flight from the US to Hawaii on United Airlines. Or a one-way flight in coach from the US (excluding Hawaii or the Virgin Islands) to Central America or the Caribbean, that costs 17,000 Lufthansa miles.
If you earn the additional 30,000 Lufthansa miles from spending $5,000 with the card in the first 90 days of account opening, you’ll have a total of 50,000 Lufthansa miles (20,000 miles + 30,000 miles).
50,000 Lufthansa miles is enough for a round-trip coach flight to Hawaii from the East Coast. These flights can easily cost ~$700+. So you can certainly get Big Travel with this card!
Here’s my post about how to use Lufthansa miles.
Barclaycard Wyndham Rewards
Looking for a hotel card? Consider the Barclaycard Wyndham Rewards card with the 45,000 Wyndham point sign-up bonus.
Even though the $69 annual fee is NOT waived the first year, the sign-up bonus is enough for 3 free nights at ANY Wyndham hotel. This includes luxury hotels like the Wyndham Grand Chicago Riverfront, which costs ~$243 per night!
And don’t forget, most folks can do better with other cards, especially if you’re new to miles and points. I always recommend folks new to our hobby apply for Chase cards first because of their stricter application rules.

But if you frequently fly with JetBlue, considering either the JetBlue Plus or small business card might be a better choice. Especially with perks like a free checked bag and discounts on certain in-flight purchases.
