When you sign-up for Virgin America’s “Virgin Sport” email newsletter by September 30, 2016, you’ll earn 500 free Virgin America points.

Virgin America points are worth ~2.15 cents each toward Virgin America flights.  So 500 Virgin America points are worth ~$11.  Not bad for 1 minute of your time!

To register, you’ll need your name, email address, and Virgin America frequent flyer number.  It’s that easy!

The bonus points should show in your account within ~10 days after the promotion ends.

How to Earn and Use Virgin America Points

You can use Virgin America points on partner airlines like Singapore Airlines, Emirates, and Virgin Atlantic.  And folks on the West Coast can use Virgin America points for flights to Hawaii on Virgin America or Hawaiian Airlines.

Read my series on earning and using Virgin America points.

If you need more points for a particular trip, you could consider the Virgin America Signature or Premium Signature card.  You can read my review of these 2 cards here.

Or transfer Citi ThankYou points to Virgin America.
