I recently wrote about how the Citi Prestige sign-up bonus is changing tomorrow, July 19, 2016.
But according to Doctor of Credit, it’s more likely that the sign-up bonus will stay the same. But the minimum spending requirement will increase significantly.
We don’t earn a commission for this offer, but we’ll always tell you about the best deals!
I’ll explain how the Citi Prestige might be changing to help you decide if you want to apply for the card now.
What’s the Deal?

This news is NOT official. But I wanted to share it with y’all in case you were considering applying for the card.
The new in-branch offer for the Citi Prestige shows an increased minimum spending requirement, from $3,000 to $5,000, within the first 3 months of account opening.
And the card no longer earns 2X Citi ThankYou points on dining. Up until now it earned 2X Citi ThankYou points on both dining and entertainment.
The other perks appear to have stayed the same.
Because this is the updated in-branch offer, it’s likely that these changes will show via the online application tomorrow, July 19, 2016.
So if you haven’t already applied for the Citi Prestige card, you prefer a lower minimum spending requirement, and value 2X bonus ThankYou points on dining, apply now!
You can read my full review of the card here.
