Use Your Discover it Card to Earn Bonus Cash Back When You Dine Out Through June 30, 2016

I’ll show you where you can earn 5% cash back or a 5X bonus through June 30, 2016!

If you activated your Chase Freedom card’s 2nd quarter bonus, you can earn 5X Chase Ultimate Rewards points on up to $1,500 in spending at grocery stores & wholesale clubs (like Costco, Sam’s Club, and BJ’s) through June 30, 2016.

Note:  Grocery purchases at stores like Walmart and Target do NOT qualify for 5X bonus points.

I love my Chase Freedom card, because you can easily earn a lot of Ultimate Rewards points or cash back on purchases you’re probably making anyway.

And if you also have the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Ink Plus, or Ink Bold (no longer available) card, you can transfer your Chase Ultimate Rewards points to airline and hotel partners for Big Travel!

Discover it

Through June 30, 2016, folks with the Discover it card can earn 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in spending at restaurants and movies (even Netflix!), when you activate the bonus.

And even better, Discover will automatically match all the cash back you earn dollar for dollar at the end of your first year of card membership, for new cardmembers only.

So new cardholders can effectively earn 10% cash back on dining out, Netflix, and movies!

If you use your Discover it card overseas, Discover will NOT add foreign transaction fees.  And you’ll get 5% back on those bonus category purchases too!

And don’t forget to plan for next quarter’s bonus categories.  Because it would be a shame to leave money (or points!) on the table. 😉
