Normally, round-trip coach award flights to Europe cost 60,000 United Airlines miles.

But through tomorrow, June 28, 2016, at 11:59 pm Central Timeyou’ll only pay 45,000 United Airlines miles for a round-trip coach award ticket from the US (excluding Hawaii) & Canada to Europe!

The sale is valid for travel on flights operated by United Airlines from August 23, 2016, through March 31, 2017.

But it isn’t great for holiday travel, because there are blackout dates between December 15, 2016, and January 8, 2017.

The discount will work on open-jaw tickets.  You can read my post about using British Airways Avios points for one-way flights within Europe.

I checked dates on the United Airlines site and found a decent number of award flights available.
