Might wanna list just which carriers use Gogo. AA gives free TMo texting already. UA dies not use Gogo. In the us, what other carriers offer Gogo?

Well, all summer long doesn't just mean to the end of August. Not that it's a big deal. It turns out that if you're traveling for fun and not work that the "throttled" speed for t-mobile is good enough. Or good enough for me, anyway.

And much of the time the European carriers give LTE anyway, rather than artificially throttling. Most don't have the hardware to do 2G any more and while they can do 3G they'd rather you be on the LTE bands.

I was pretty disappointed with this promo, mainly because it's a bit deceptive. T-Mobile's official blog states that this data promo is "All summer long", which is not true...it only goes through Aug 31st. Summer goes until Sept 21st. I contacted T-mo support about this and pointed out that people like me, who will be in Europe in early Sept, will NOT get this promo even though it's still summer, and that they should clarify the wording in their promo. They agreed it was not clear and have told me they've escalated it to the proper dept. Dont know if that actually means anything or if anyone will do anything with that info, but worth mentioning.

I switched to T-mobile from AT&T even before this, when they started offering 2G coverage overseas. The peace of mind knowing your bill will be the exact same amount and being connected to the internet all the time...
