1. Marriott Adds Late Check-Out
Marriott announced new membership benefits including:
- The Experiences Marketplace
- Elite Concierge Service
- Guaranteed Late Check-Out
The Experiences Marketplace will be available to all Marriott and Ritz-Carlton Rewards members in late May 2016. You’ll be able to use your points for things like Broadway shows, cooking lessons, and even to hang out with your favorite sports team!

The Elite Concierge Service will at first be available ONLY to a select group of Marriott Rewards Elite members but will be expanded. You’ll get a dedicated concierge to help with anything you need during your stay, like on-site restaurant reservations, spa appointments, and special requests.
The Guaranteed Late Check-Out perk will be available to Marriott Rewards and Ritz-Carlton Rewards Gold & Platinum Elite members starting May 16, 2016. You’ll be able to check-out as late as 4:00 pm at participating hotels.
But you must request late check-out. And it is NOT available at Marriott Resort Hotels, convention hotels, or Marriott Vacation Club hotels.
And don’t forget about the increased sign-bonus for the Marriott Rewards® Premier Credit Card. You can earn 80,000 Marriott points when you complete the minimum spending.

You must register via the link in your email by May 25, 2016, and use the card to pay for your stay. You can earn a maximum of 5,000 American Airlines miles through this promotion.
Albuquerque right? Trying to get a lil strange in on the sly huh?
For the Wyndham promotion, the reward night belongs to "qualified stay", right?
The Experiences Marketplace mentions all inclusive benefits at certain Caribbean and Mexican properties. Unfortunately Marriott is too cheap to allow points to be redeemed for any of these, unlike most of the other hotel chains who do include a small number of AI resorts available for point redemptions. It's nice to see them trying to catch up, since Hilton, Spg, even IHG all have had experiences available for points for a while, but with limited choices and no all inclusive awards it is a pathetic attempt that they need to improve before implementing it.
