1.   Monthly Amazon Prime Membership for ~$11

Via SlickDeals, Amazon now offers month-to-month Prime membership for ~$11.  Previously, you could only purchase yearly memberships for $99.

If You Only Want Amazon Prime for a Month or Two, You Can Now Pay ~$11 per Month. Or Get Amazon Video for ~$9 per Month

A friend of mine likes the free unlimited 2-day shipping he gets with his Amazon Prime subscription.  And he likes streaming Amazon Music (included with your membership), which works overseas.

The monthly option is a sweet deal if you want to order lots of items within a month or two (like around Christmas).  Or if you want to try out the service before committing to a full year.

Amazon also added the option for ~$9 monthly Amazon Video subscriptions, which is comparable to Netflix.  However, there’s a limited selection and it does NOT work overseas.  Although you may have luck with a VPN service.  I’d rather pay the extra $2 and get free 2-day shipping + the extras of a full Prime membership.

2.   Earn 250 Free Virgin America Points (or 750 If You’re a New Member!)

One Mile at a Time reports you can earn 250 Virgin America points for free when you enter their newest promotion by May 27, 2016.  Enter your Virgin America frequent flyer number and contact details.

You must be 21+ to participate.  And you’ll receive the bonus points in your account within 4 to 6 weeks.

If you don’t already have an account with Virgin America, you can earn 500 Virgin America points when you sign-up by May 31, 2016 (it’s free!).  And then get 250 more points with the promotion above.  That’s 750 free Virgin America points for a few minutes of your time.

3.   Get up to $50 Back With Citi Smart Savings When You Stay at Hampton Inn (Targeted)

Link:   Hampton Inn Hotels

Via Reddit, folks with Citi credit cards can log into their accounts to check Citi Smart Savings for a 10% discount at Hampton Inn hotels.  After you log-in, click “Card Benefits,” then “Offers for You” to see if you were targeted.

To get the deal, spend between $150 and $500 on a single stay at at Hampton Inn hotels through May 20, 2016, and pay with your registered card.  Within 2 billing cycles, you’ll get 10% back as a statement credit, up to a maximum of $50.

Hampton Inn usually has free hot breakfast and internet included in the room rate.  And many locations have fitness rooms and swimming pools.  This is a good deal if you have a stay coming up!

4.   Earn 750 Southwest Points for Marriott Stays

Via Hustler Money Blog, you can earn 600 Southwest points when you stay at Marriott hotels and present your Southwest loyalty number at check-in.

Plus, you’ll earn an extra 150 Southwest points when you book your Marriott stay through Southwest, for a total of 750 bonus Southwest points.  That’s worth ~$11 to ~$13 toward Southwest award flights (and nearly double if you have the Southwest Companion pass!).

If you don’t have accounts with either program, it’s free to sign-up with Marriott and Southwest.

Note:   If you choose to earn Southwest points for your Marriott stays, you will NOT earn Marriott points.

This can be an excellent option if you don’t stay often with Marriott.  Or if you’d rather have Southwest points for your next award flight!
