Here’s a Rundown of How You Can Save With Uber

What’s Uber?

Uber is a car service available in 58 countries.  You can request a ride from the Uber iPhone or Android app on your mobile device.  And on the app you can watch your driver’s progress to your location.

When you sign-up for an account, you enter your credit card number.  Then all charges are done through the app, no money ever changes hands.  But you can tip the driver in cash if you want!

Sometimes Uber is more expensive than a regular taxi (especially during busy periods), but often it’s cheaper.

I’ve had good experiences with Uber so far.  The drivers have been friendly and the price was the same (or cheaper) than a taxi.  And I love how convenient it is to order a ride from your phone!

Thanks for the uber info. My wife signed up for a new account with Emily's link. So now we should get a $20 credit right? How do we access/use the credit? Is there a code at checkout? Is there already $20 in our account? We are new to Uber and want to do it right when we do use the app. Thanks.

You forget to mention that there are constantly promos that Uber puts out for riders... it's just a matter of searching.

I check a helpful blog at least 1x/week just to see if anything is coming up in my local area, or where I plan on traveling to. It's worth your while to take a peek every now and then.
