3. New York’s LaGuardia Will Be Rebuilt for $4 Billion
Via Travel Skills, New York can look forward to a brand new LaGuardia airport in 2018 or 2019, to the tune of $4 billion!
The new airport will feature 1 main terminal instead of several smaller ones, and will have ferry and train service to the city. There will also be a hotel and conference center, and improved roads to get to the updated airport.
This is great news for folks in (and flying to!) the New York area, but it remains to be seen if flights will continue at LaGuardia during construction.
4. A Reader Saved ~$500 With Citi Price Rewind!

I used my Citi credit card Price Rewind feature to obtain a $495 refund on a washer and dryer purchase. It is the easiest refund program I’ve seen. After you make a purchase, you look up the item on the Citi Price Rewind website and enter what you paid and the date of purchase.
The site then checks other suppliers over a 60-day period and if it finds a lower price, you receive the difference. They sent me a check for $495. Not a bad return for 5 minutes work.
To start a price rewind, fill in the details of your purchase on the Citi Price Rewind website. The program is limited to $300 per item and $1,200 per calendar year. And it only takes 5 minutes to start tracking an item!
Congratulations, Rick! I love hearing success stories from readers!
Let me know if you’ve saved money with Citi Price Rewind!
And remember, this Saturday we’re giving away A LOT of points to 1 of my favorite hotel chains!
