Daily Getaways is a promotion sponsored by the US Travel Association offering discounts on hotels like HiltonAlamo car rental certificates, and attractions like Universal Studios Hollywood.

Here’s today’s deal.

Deal for March 30, 2015 – Discounted Best Western Points

With today’s deal you can purchase discounted Best Western points in 10,000 point increments for $55, or 0.55 cents each.  And you can buy up to 5 sets of points (50,000 points total).

Normally Best Western sells points for 1 cent each, so you’re saving 45% if you get this deal.  But there are only 835 of these deals available.

Your Best Western points never expire if you live in:

  • Asia
  • Central America
  • North America
  • South Africa
  • South America

And they can be transferred to certain airlines at a 5:1 ratio, but that’s not a good deal!

You could save money buying Best Western points.

A paid night at the Best Western Plus Bayside Hotel costs ~$272 including tax or 28,000 Best Western points.  So buying Best Western points through Daily Getaways saves you $107 (~$272 cost of paid room – $165 cost of 3 sets of 10,000 Best Western points)!

It’s Cheaper to Use Points Than Pay Cash at the Best Western Plus Bayside Hotel

But you should check prices because some Best Western hotels are inexpensive.

For example, 1 night at the Best Western Hotel Mondrial in Rome costs ~$110 or 32,000 Best Western points.

Nice picture of Key West Ambassador Hotel. Lol. Problem with that hotel is it is next to airport and right in the flight path. If stay there you have to enjoy the roar of incoming and outgoing planes all day long. And it is on far side if island from Old Town where all the activities are.
