I’ve written about how you can save if you have a business Visa card with the Visa Savings Edge program here, here, and here. But there’s also a savings program for Mastercard business cards – Mastercard Easy Savings.
Once you register your business MasterCards, you can save when you shop with participating stores. But not all business MasterCards are eligible. Keep reading to find out more.
Master Card Easy Savings
The MasterCard Easy Savings program gives you rebates at participating shops when you pay with your registered business Mastercard and signature debit card.
Rebate categories include:
- Airport parking
- Car rentals
- Office supplies
- Shipping services
Note: Not all MasterCards are eligible for the program. Unfortunately I haven’t found a list of cards. But you can contact your card’s issuing bank to find out if they participate.
You can also register your (older Mastercard versions of) Ink Bold, Ink Plus, and CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® World Mastercard® cards in the program.
How to Register
You can register your MasterCard Business card (not personal card) on the Mastercard Easy Savings website.
What Are The Discounts?
There are a variety of participating stores. Here are a few current offers that might interest you:
1. 4% on Hotels
You’ll get a 4% rebate at participating hotels when using your MasterCard small business card at:
- Days Inn Hotels
- Hampton Inn & Suites
- Hilton Garden Inn
- Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts
- Howard Johnson
- Hyatt Place
- Ramada Hotels
- Super 8 Hotels
2. 10% at ParkRideFly Airport Parking
ParkRideFly USA gives a 10% discount on airport parking.
3. 5% at Avis and Budget Car Rentals
You save 5% on a $75 car rental (Avis and Budget) and get access to corporate rates that are up to 30% off.
You’ll also get a free rental day for every 15 points you earn and double points for your 1st 90 days of membership in Avis Preferred. These might not be the lowest rates so be sure and check all your options for finding the cheapest rates on rental cars.
With Budget you get $3 cash back rebates for each rental day.
Some Avis and Budget locations are independent franchises, so only rentals at corporate owned or partner franchised locations qualify for the rebates.
4. 4% at Restaurants
You get a 4% rebate at the ~12,000 restaurants in the Dinova dining network, including gift cards purchased at participating restaurants.
Depending on the city, you’ll find chain restaurants such as Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Joe’s Crab Shack, and Outback Steakhouse.
Double Dip or Triple Dip
The Mastercard Easy Savings program allows you to get rebates and other offers from participating partners so you can double dip. Meaning you can combine savings and discounts.
Step 1 – Easy Savings
Use the Mastercard that you registered in the Easy Savings Program for your purchase and get up to a 13% rebate.
Step 2 – Fat Wallet or Mr. Rebates
A. Mr. Rebates
Book your hotel via Mr. Rebates and pay using your registered MasterCard, you’ll get 10% or 11% back (5% from Mastercard Easy Savings + 5% or 6% from Mr. Rebates).
You get 7.5% back (5% from MasterCard Easy Savings + 2.5% from Fat Wallet), if you book your hotel via FatWallet and pay using your registered MasterCard.
Because rebates differ depending on the rebate portal and they change, you should compare both before you book.
Step 3 – Ink Bold or Ink Plus
Use your Ink Bold or Ink Plus (the older Mastercard version) and get 2 Chase Ultimate Rewards points per $1 for booking your hotel.
When you register your business Mastercard, you get automatic rebates on purchases such as hotel stays and car rentals.
