Tips for Getting Your Points Faster!

Here are ways you can expedite the process:

Frustrated AMEX customer

I see an easy solution – will complete the qualifying spending activity for Chase & ask it to expedite posting of points.

Frustrated AMEX customer

Is there any way I can request American Express to expedite the posting of sign-up bonus points asap? I was told that it can only happen after the first statement closing date, but I need those points asap to book Delta flights. I’ve already talked to 4 customer care executives who couldn’t help me out.

Frustrated AMEX customer

Nowadays (it’s May 2018), it’s not possible to expedite the posting of bonus points before the very first statement closing date. Or maybe EveryDay card users are considered *low-tier*

Frustrated AMEX customer

I was planning to run my attorney fee ($30k annually) using my lowbrow EveryDay card, but I’ll use Chase instead (until I get fed up of its customer care).

Opened an account in December. Statement closed in January, wanted the points to get the 40% bonus. The person on chat suggested I pay the full amount due on the statement and call. did just that” the first CSR a lady, refused saying bonus MRs can be expedited and I need to wait 6 weeks.

Then called again in the evening and no questions asked the points were posted right away and I was also able to transfer to BA.

NEVER works on phone even with Membership Rewards number. Never works in chat with CSR. ALWAYS works when you go to chat and ask for a Membership Rewards person to be put on chat with you. Weird but several of us have been there, done that, recently in the FT thread on this.
