1. OfficeMax $20 off $300 in Visa or MasterCard Gift Cards
Via Frequent Miler, when you buy $300 in Visa or MasterCard gift cards you’ll save $20. This is a terrific deal! That’s because most gift cards charge a ~$7 activation fee, but with the $20 off you cancel out most of these fees.
Buying gift cards with a credit card and then loading your AMEX Bluebird, AMEX Serve, or Evolve account is a great way to meet minimum spending requirements! And it’s even better when you don’t have to pay high gift card activation fees!
You can get this deal 2X per household or business.
2. US Airways Card – $25 Statement Credit for Paperless Statements
Barclaycard US Airways cardholders can get a $25 statement credit by signing-up to receive paperless statements.
To get the credit, just log into your account and you should see a pop-up message with the offer.
If you already have paperless statements, you should be able to go to your account settings and select “Turn off paperless statements.” Then log out and back into your account and the pop-up offer should appear.
3. 750 Southwest Bonus Points (~$11) When You Spend $175

And points your earn through the shopping portal DO count towards the Southwest Companion Pass!
4. 10 Gogo Internet Passes per Year, AMEX Business Platinum Only
Gogo internet can cost $5 an hour to $16 per day for inflight Wi-Fi access. So this is a nice little added bonus.
You can also get free Boingo internet access at certain airports, hotels, and retail stores with The Business Platinum® Card from American Express OPEN, Platinum, and Mercedes-Benz Platinum cards.
5. Update – United Airlines Now Discounting Japan Awards, Too!
I wrote last week about how you can save 20% on United Airlines award tickets to certain US cities and on Business Class award tickets to Europe, India, and Central Asia.
And now you can save 20% on flights to Japan from January 31, 2015, to March 11, 2015. To get this discount, your fight can NOT include a stopover.
A saver coach award from the US to Japan typically costs 70,000 United Airlines miles. But with this discount, you’ll only pay 56,000 miles.
