Be ready to receive a boatload of targeted spam. I learned my lesson!!

Wonder if you could use Orbitz(Cyber Monday deal) to book Mariott stay for January and still get the hotel credit

As @DaveS mentioned, e-Rewards has their own "$ currency". Best that I can tell, it is about $3 e-Rewards to a US currency $1. This is based on give cards, where it takes $75 e-Rewards dollars to get a gift card worth $25.

$125 e-Rewards will buy you 7,000 HHonors points. If you value Hilton points at the high end of 1/2 cent a piece, then $125 e-Rewards buys you approx $35 of Hilton value.

I agree with Daraius, those surveys take a long time, and so you need to be valuing your time quite cheaply to do it. The other thing to watch out for is that they offer an amount - say "$5.00" - for doing a survey, but it is not real U.S. dollars, but their own currency, which is worth less than 40 cents. I actually didn't think U.S. businesses could use the $ sign for a currency of their own that is not worth $1.00, but I guess they get away with it.
