You can use Twitter to book Hyatt stays using Points + Cash and confirm Diamond Suite upgrades. This is helpful, because you can’t book the Points + Cash rate online or use your Diamond Suite upgrades online.
But you have to follow Hyatt at @HyattConcierge on Twitter and they have to follow you back. That’s because you have to be able to direct message Hyatt to book your award stay on Twitter.
This is great for folks who travel frequently and can’t make calls because they are flying. Or because they can’t talk on the phone. It’s also great for folks like me who sometimes forget to make a hotel booking in advance…
And you don’t need to have all the Hyatt points in your account to book a Hyatt award! Although, you will need to have them before your stay.
Tweet @HyattConcierge that you need assistance with a booking.
Step 2 – Send a Direct Message to @HyattConcierge
Send a direct message to @HyattConcierge with your travel date, name of the hotel where you want to book a Points+Cash room, and your Hyatt Gold Passport number.
You’ll get a direct message from @HyattConcierge confirming your booking within minutes.
You can use the Direct Message feature on Twitter to book Hyatt Points + Cash stays and confirm Diamond Suite upgrades IF you follow Hyatt at @HyattConcierge on Twitter and they are following you back.
You don’t need to have all the required points in your account to book a Hyatt award. But you’ll need to have them before your stay.
