Update:   This offer is no longer available.  Check our Hot Deals for the latest offers.

Via Mommy Points, you can get 15,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points or $150 cash back on the Chase Freedom card after spending $500 in the 1st 3 months.  And if you add an authorized user who makes a purchase in the 1st 3 months, you can get can additional 2,500 Chase Ultimate Rewards points.

Normally, the sign-up bonus is 10,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points or $100 cash back.  The highest offer we’ve seen on the Chase Freedom card was 20,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points, but that offer expired.

So this is a good deal!  And is better than my link for only 10,000 points.

You Can Transfer Chase Freedom Points Indirectly to Partner Hotels and Airlines, Like United Airlines

Chase Freedom Card

The Chase Freedom is 1 of my favorite cards and a great card to keep for a long time because it has no annual fee.  You can build a long relationship with Chase (which has the best miles and points cards) and build your credit score.

There are different bonus categories each quarter so you can earn an additional $300 cash back or 30,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points a year (7,500 Chase Ultimate Rewards points per quarter X 4 quarters in a year) IF you spend $1,500 in each quarterly bonus category.

The bonus spending categories for this quarter are gas stations and Kohl’s department stores.

You Can Get 5X Chase Ultimate Rewards Points Using Your Chase Freedom Card at Gas Stations This Quarter

You can also redeem the points earned for cash back (5% cash back is pretty good and some folks prefer cash back).

Or you can transfer the Chase Ultimate Rewards points to the Chase Sapphire Preferred, (no longer offered) Chase Ink Bold, or Chase Ink Plus cards and from there to certain airline or hotel partners such as Hyatt, Southwest, British Airways, or United Airlines.

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points from the Chase Freedom to a card which allows you to transfer them to certain hotels and airlines!

Get 2,500 Additional Chase Ultimate Rewards Points

You can also get an additional 2,500 Chase Ultimate Rewards points when you add an authorized user to your Chase Freedom card AND they make a purchase in the 1st 3 months.

So you’d get 17,500 Chase Ultimate Rewards points (15,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points sign-up bonus + 2,500 Chase Ultimate Rewards points for adding an authorized user).

Bottom Line

You can get 15,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points or $150 cash back on the Chase Freedom card after spending $500 in the 1st 3 months (better than my link!).  You can get an additional 2,500 Chase Ultimate Rewards points if you add an authorized user who makes a purchase in the 1st 3 months.

This is better than the usual sign-up bonus of 10,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points or $100 cash back.

The Chase Freedom is 1 of my favorite cards.  I recently applied for my own Chase Freedom card because I was an authorized user on Emily’s card.

Looking at the Chase Freedom page, they don't mention points, just the $150. How does one go about getting points once you get the card?

Chase is changing all of the Freedom cards to Visa's, I have a MC version. Also why do you show a UA plane when the best redemption isn't with UA..

I have had a Chase card since 1994, my oldest card. About 5 years ago, it changed to a Chase Freedom card. Does Chase allow you to have more than one Freedom card??
