Emily and I love flying Southwest!  Their frequent flyer program is our favorite for domestic travel because you can check 2 free bags and you won’t pay change or cancellation fees.  And the Companion Pass lets you fly a companion for almost free on both paid and award tickets.

All 4 versions of the Chase Southwest cards currently have a 50,000 point sign-up bonus, so it’s a good time to apply if you’re trying to get the Companion Pass!

Southwest Has the Funniest Flight Attendants!

Our other favorite thing about Southwest is how fun the flight attendants are!  Whether they’re helping passengers with their bags (how often do you see this on other US Airlines!), assisting folks with special needs, or performing routine tasks like making safety announcements, the flight attendants are almost always quirky and entertaining.

So if you’re in the mood for a giggle, check out this funny Southwest safety announcement!

Bottom Line

Emily and I love Southwest for domestic travel, and their employees are awesome.

Have you had any fun experiences like this on a Southwest flight?
