500 easy IHG points for a couple minutes of my time is definitely worth it! I see it as getting 10% of the way towards an IHG 5,000 point PointsBreak hotel. 🙂
How Can I Earn More IHG Rewards Points?
You can get IHG Rewards points by:
- Using Cash & Points to buy points
- Transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points from your Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Bold, or Chase Ink Plus.
- Applying for the IHG Rewards credit card for 80,000 points. It also includes a free night every year, after your 1st year which makes up for the annual fee.
Note: Transferring points from Chase Ultimate Rewards to IHG Rewards is NOT the best value, but it could make sense for hotels on the PointBreaks list.
If you’re comfortable with using the cash and points trick, you can effectively buy IHG points for 0.7 cents per point. This is a better value than redeeming Chase Ultimate Rewards points directly for IHG points.
In a couple of minutes you can earn an easy 500 IHG points!
