I love collecting miles and points to get Big Travel with Small Money, but I also like getting cash back!
The American Express SimplyCash Business Credit Card is currently offering a $250 statement credit after spending $3,000 in 3 months, but this offer is only good until April 28, 2014. Usually, this card has no sign-up bonus, so this is a good deal!
What Is the American Express SimplyCash Card?
This was one of the cards I applied for in January which earned me 100,000 miles and $890 in statement credits.

Earning cash back with the American Express SimplyCash card gives you lots of flexibility because you can use the cash for anything, not just travel related expenses. Also, it currently has no annual fee.
You don’t often see such a good sign-up bonus on no-annual-fee cards.
- 5% cash back at office supply stores
- 3% cash back from a category you can choose (like airfare, gas stations, or dining)
- 1% cash back on everything else
- Terms & limitations apply
A Good Card to Keep
Because it has no annual fee, this is also a good card to keep open for a long time. Here’s my post about why everyone should have a no-annual-fee credit card.
Having another American Express card can get you an extra statement credit on AMEX Small Business Saturday. Last year, you got a $10 in statement credit for each American Express card you used at a local small business.
The SimplyCash card also lets you earn American Express OPEN discounts and bonus points at 7 popular merchants including Hyatt, Hertz, and FedEx. This is a good way to take advantage of the OPEN program without having to pay an annual fee.
This could be a good card for folks without firm travel plans and want the cash back.
You get a statement credit of $250 on the American Express SimplyCash Business Credit Card when you spend $3,000 in 3 months, but only if you apply before April 28, 2014.
This is a good deal for a card that charges no annual fee and earns up to 5% cash back.
I’ve already gotten my $250 statement credit!
