Many thanks to Million Mile Secrets reader matthewD for sending us a link to the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve Card with a $100 statement credit!

Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve With $100 Statement Credit!

The Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve card gets you 2 weekend nights at any Hilton, plus free Hilton Gold Elite status, after spending $2,500 in 4 months.  The annual fee of $95 is not waived for the first year.

This offer doesn’t pay us a commission, but will get you a $100 statement credit after spending at least $100 at a Hilton hotel within the 1st 3 months.  We always tell you about a better offer, even if it doesn’t pay us a commission!

Citi Hilton Visa Signature Card

If you don’t like paying an annual fee, the Citi Hilton HHonors Visa Signature Card (our link) gets you 40,000 points and free Hilton Silver Elite status after spending $1,000 in 4 months.  However, there is an offer for 50,000 points which we don’t earn a commission on (the landing page doesn’t mention the 50,000 point bonus, but most folks report getting the bonus.)

Emily and I Used Hilton Points to Stay at the Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice!

But here’s a new offer for 40,000 points after spending $1,000 in 4 months, but with a $50 statement credit after spending at least $50 at a Hilton hotel within the 1st 3 months.  So you’re giving up 10,000 Hilton points for a $50 statement credit.

I’d personally get the 50,000 point offer, because I’d rather get 10,000 extra Hilton points than spend $50 at a Hilton hotel.

Bottom Line

You can get 2 free weekend Hilton nights, free Gold Elite status AND a $100 statement credit if you apply for the Citi Hilton Reserve using this link.  However, you HAVE to spend at least $100 at a Hilton hotel to get the statement credit.  This link doesn’t pay us a commission and is a better choice for folks who will be spending money at a Hilton hotel.

If you don’t like paying an annual fee, there’s also a Citi Hilton HHonors Visa Signature offer with a $50 statement credit after spending $50 at a Hilton hotel.  But it’s only for 40,000 points.  That said, I prefer the 50,000 Hilton points offer out of the no-annual fee Citi Hilton cards.

HI I got the Hilton REserve card and had a stay at a hilton property and Citi didnt give me the $100. I e-mailed using the message center and was told I would need to submit proof of the targeted offer or they would not honor. THe told me to mail or fax the targeted offer. I just sent another message describing the process of booking the reservation and getting to the link. Will let you know what transpires.

Hi Paige,

I am experiencing a similar problem now. Citi account service department keeps saying that I need an evidence to show that I took a solicitation in order for them to match it up though I got an unsolicited offer. (I do not have any proof other than the promotion page.)

I have the card since April this year and haven't received the statement credit though I have fulfilled the requirement.

Darius, do you know how long this $100 statement credit offer was valid? I just got a call from a Citibank employee who claims that this offer wasn't good in early April, which is when we applied. I pointed out it was good in late February (as evidenced by this post) and was good until last week when it was pulled, but she wants "proof" it was offered in April; do you know the duration of this offer?

I got this card in April, $100 statement credit definitely part of the offer; I stayed at a Doubletree in May and spent more than $100; no statement credit! I emailed the CS dept and they said they have no idea what I'm talking about, that they've never heard of any such offer made by this card for a $100 statement credit after a Hilton stay within the first 3 months of card ownership; called to CS and they said same thing and were pretty nasty; any advice? Anyone else have this problem?

Can we keep the weekend certificates even after we cancel the credit card?

Also is it possible to churn this card twice in a 12-month period to end up with 4 weekend certificates? I didn't find any terms on how often we can churn this card in the fine print.

@Abhilash Muthuraj - Apparently we cannot just go eat a hilton hotel restaurant:

"(12) Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve Card: In order to qualify for this one-time statement credit, the minimum $100 purchase requirement must be met and will include charges at hotel restaurants, lounges, retail stores, or spas, which are charged to the cardmember’s hotel room bill and settled using the Citi® Hilton HHonors™ Reserve card upon checkout. Certain on-property vendors may not permit cardmember to charge to their hotel room, and such charges will not be applied toward the purchase requirement. Credit will appear on billing statement 6-8 weeks after purchase requirement has been met."

@Alex - As long as the card is associated with your account, you should be fine!
