Update: One or more card offers in this post are no longer available. Check our Hot Deals for the latest offers.

I do NOT get a referral for the links to any of the cards in this post.

I was surfing the web and found a 1-day offer (April 6, 2012) for the American Express Business Platinum for 50,000 points after spending a ridiculous $10,000 within 3 months.  The annual fee of $450 is not waived either.

The regular offer on the Business Platinum is for 25,000 Membership Rewards points after spending $5,000 within 3 months.

You have to apply by today, April 6, 2012 and use Bonus ID A2GL (apparently embedded in the application form).

Personally, I don’t find spending $10,000 within 3 months to be a great deal.  The last 1-day offer for the business American Express Business Gold which offered 75,000 Membership Rewards points after spending $10,000 within 4 months.

And you can get 50,000 Membership Rewards points by spending $1,000 within 3 months on the personal Mercedes Benz Platinum card.

The American Express Platinum gets you Delta Airlines lounge access, offers a $200 credit towards travel incidentals, which can sometimes be used to buy airline gift cards in small denominations, Starwood Preferred Gold status and a few other benefits.

This isn’t a card I’d apply for, but it may interest other readers!  I’ve updated the Bank Points Credit Card tab with a link to this offer as well.

Not sure you will see this question. But can you confirm that the business platinum card also guarantees a SPG gold member? because I can find this information anywhere.. Thanks

Once I max out the amount that I need on a specific CC, I have been using my Capital One Venture Card for purchases. Just wondered if you think this is a good card to be using or is there a better "every day" card that you would recommend? Also, I opted to receive of the Priority Club emails but have never been targeted for the 80,000. Is there a specific link to this?

@Juli - The Capital One card will get you 2% back towards travel. If you're looking to travel within the US, this may be a better choice than other cards. However, if you are looking to transfer to Airlines or Hotels, the Chase Sapphire Preferred would be a better choice. There is a link to the 80K Priority Club card in the Hotel Credit Cards tab.

jo. you clicked more info on the gold card info, for some reason it is in the middle of the AD. The $450 is the first year fee. I have to say I just signed up for the card when I closed the personal plat after the 50K to 100K promotion. I like some of the extra services, and the $200 airline fee promo. I airline discount using points is great. I only got the 25K promo as I was trying to change cards and keep a MR account as I have a bunch of miles. Each person will find there own benefits in each card. This one has some perks I use.

(and 50K adds up to way more then $500 by itself, if you then take lounge access, and airline $200 credit, SPG gold, $100 for fed air program, AMEX customer service... it is way more then $450)

If you click "apply now", you will see more detail. In fact, it says annual fee is ZERO for the 1st year, and 175 the next year.

Millionmilesecrets ASSUMEs it is 450 based on the name of the card.

Just a status card, really.
