I fly to Chicago later this afternoon to take part in StarMegaDO3!

Here’s how I described the event in an earlier post:

At StarMegaDO3 you can meet other like minded folks who obsess over miles and points and the top management of United Airlines and Hyatt Gold Passport.

You get to go on behind-the-scenes tours of Chicago O’Hare airport, fly on a charter plane to Montreal where you tour a Bombardier plane factory, fly on the same charter plane back to Denver where you could tour United’s training facilities or get to ride in an F16!

And that’s just a few of the many activities planned.  What a terrific way to spend 4 days!

Last August went to Berlin for the cost of buying 5000 miles. 6days @ the Hilton on points on the executive floor and business class on Lufthansa.

currently, booked first class on BA R/T @ cost of $2,200 to buy miles for the 2 of us. Estimated cost of hotels (7 days in London and 5 days in Paris ) should be about $2,000. Marriott and intercontinental hotels. Does not include train to Paris and return to London. I to am a CPA.

That's so cool. Have fun Daraius!

what does it cost to attend next time?

Million Mile Secrets

@alohastephen - I don't know what next year's costs are, but it was $750 for the coach charter flights and ~$450 for the 4 nights hotel (which I used a Hyatt gift card from the Capital One deal to pay for!)

I'm going there too!

That is just great! have a great time! don't forget to upload pictures of the event!

Million Mile Secrets
