A lot of readers liked last week’s listing of sweepstakes, so here’s another round!

1.   500,000 AAdvantage Miles

Via AAdvantage Geek, American Airlines is promoting their new Five Star Service with a sweepstake.

The prize is 500,000 AAdvantage miles and a $5,000 gift card which can be used for hotel accommodation, dinner, and car transfers.  You can enter the sweepstake twice.

Paying $125 to be escorted through an airport is not something I would do, but it may be of interest to some readers!

2.   30,000 AAdvantage mile Virtual Celebration Flight Sweepstakes

Again via AAdvantage geek, American Airlines if offering 30,000 AAdvantage miles for 10 winners in the Virtual Celebration Flight sweepstakes.

You need a facebook account to take part in this sweepstake.

3.   Score a trip to London

Win a trip to London for 2 people, tickets to a soccer (football) game, 4 nights stay in a hotel, and a $1,000 gift card with the American Airlines “Score a trip to London” sweepstake.

You have to answer the following 3 questions to participate, and I’ve bolded the correct answer choice below.

Question 1: It’s never been easier to catch a soccer game in London. Through its enhanced relationships, American Airlines offers more options to fly to London from New York than any other airline. How many daily flights do American Airlines and British Airways together currently offer between New York and London? Answer: 15

Question 2: Soccer or football–no one can ever seem to agree what to call it! Where did the term soccer first originate? Answer: England

Question 3: Soccer is the most popular sport in London. Through its enhanced relationships, American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia currently offer soccer fans non-stop flights to London from which of the following U.S. cities? Answer: All of the above
