Are you 1 of the folks wondering how to use gift cards to load your Bluebird account at Walmart now that you can’t buy Vanilla Reloads with a credit card at CVS anymore?

How To Load Bluebird With Gift Cards At Walmart

You Can’t Buy Vanilla Reloads With a Credit Card at CVS Anymore…but You
Can Still Use Gift Cards to Load Your Bluebird!

Many of us were loading Bluebird with Vanilla Reloads, but that’s no longer possible.  But you can buy PIN-enabled gift cards with a credit card to earn miles and points instead.  And then load these gift cards onto Bluebird, but you have to go to Walmart in person.  Then you can use Bluebird to pay bills you can’t normally pay with a credit card.

And don’t forget that you can also use Evolve Money to pay certain bills online with a gift card with a PIN without having to go to Wal-Mart.

If you’re new to this, I’ll show you how!

Use Evolve Money to Pay Your Utilities, Student Loans, & More With a Credit Card

Disclosure:  Emily & I get a commission for banner ads and some credit cards on the blog.  You don’t have to use our links, but we’re very grateful when you do.  We don’t write about all the credit cards available in the US, but only the ones which get us miles and points or cash back for Big Travel with Small Money!

Many of us have been using American Express Bluebird to pay bills that can’t be paid with a credit card, like rent, mortgage, car loans, student loans, and utilities.

That’s because we want to get miles & points for our expenses.  And also to complete the minimum spending needed to get a sign-up bonus on a credit card.

Because CVS stopped allowing Vanilla Reload purchases with a credit card, folks are turning to buying PIN-enabled gift cards (i.e. Visa and MasterCard gift cards) with a credit card to fund their Bluebird accounts.  Gift cards with PINs can be loaded onto Bluebird at Walmart.  But it’s become more inconvenient with the extra step of going to Walmart several times a month to load your Bluebird.

But did you know there’s another way to use gift cards to pay bills?  Evolve Money lets you pay bills online with a Visa or MasterCard debit or gift card (NOT American Express gift cards) – no trips to Walmart needed!  And you can buy a Visa or MasterCard gift card at CVS, drug stores, grocery stores etc.
