Million Mile Secrets reader, Amber, commented:
I have had the Barclaycard Arrival Plus before. I closed it early last year.
I’m considering applying for it again, but the terms say the bonus offer is valid for first-time cardmembers with new accounts only. Existing cardmembers and existing accounts are not eligible for this offer. Does that mean I will not be able to get the 50,000 points since I had the card before?
Great question, Amber!
In practice, you can earn the bonus that comes with the Barclaycard Arrival Plus more than once. But the terms and conditions definitely give Barclaycard the right to not give you the bonus!

Earlier this week, I wrote that the sign-up bonus for the Starwood Preferred Guest® Business Credit Card from American Express would likely return to 25,000 Starwood points after meeting minimum spending requirements.
The limited-time offer which included a bonus of 2 free nights in a category 1 to 5 hotel expired yesterday. And now, as I suspected, the bonus has returned to the regular offer. This is the same as the offer for 25,000 points on the personal card.
This is good news, because 25,000 Starwood points will potentially get you much more Big Travel than 2 free night certificates. And AMEX business cards are quite easy to get approved for!

I’ll explain why the 25,000 point offer is a better deal for most folks!
