Last week I shared a rumor about new valuable US Bank card, the US Bank Altitude Reserve.
And now we have new details about the card! Some are a bit disappointing, but some are really exciting!
For example, the $325 annual travel credit is per cardmember year, NOT calendar year. So you won’t be able to get it twice before the second annual fee is due (like you can with the Chase Sapphire Reserve).
But getting approved for the card might be easier than we first thought! I’ll explain.

Here’s a nice new bonus if you like Club Carlson hotels!
Until June 30, 2017, you’ll earn 3X points on all Club Carlson stays. Plus, you’ll get a bonus 5,000 points for each stay that includes a Sunday or Monday (or 10,000 points if your stay includes both days)!
To earn the bonus points, you must register with your Club Carlson account details (it’s free to join!).

Yesterday I told you about a few targeted spending bonuses that were being offered on various Barclaycard cards, like the Arrival Plus and JetBlue Plus cards.
And now, folks have reported receiving offers on other cards too! Including cards issued by Chase, like the Chase IHG and Chase Hyatt card. And a different (but great!) offer on the Barclaycard JetBlue Plus card.
So it’s worth checking your email, spam, and snail mail to see if you qualify for any of these deals.
Most of these offers are 2nd quarter promotions, so the spending requirement will likely run from April 1, 2017, through June 30, 2017. And most of the offers require activating your card, but there are a few exceptions!
The 10,000 JetBlue Points You Can Earn With One of These Targeted Offers Is Worth ~$140 in JetBlue Flights to Awesome Destinations Like San Juan, Puerto Rico
I’ll share more about these targeted offers. And help you decide whether they make sense for you.

Million Mile Secrets reader, Carberrie, commented:
I have the Citi Hilton Reserve card, which comes with an annual free weekend night at certain Hilton hotels after spending $10,000 in a membership year. I met the spending requirement and have 1 year to use the free night. If I cancel the card to avoid paying the annual fee, will I lose my free night?
The good news is after you earn the free night, you will NOT lose it. Even if you cancel the card.
This policy is similar for other hotel credit cards that come with a free annual night, including some that don’t have a spending requirement, like the Chase IHG card.

I’ll remind you which cards come with a free hotel night each year. And why it might be worth it to pay the annual fees to keep these cards open!

Booking a hotel stay soon? This deal from Club Carlson could be worth a look!
Via Frequent Flyer Bonuses, Club Carlson just announced its Dream Deals promotion. You can earn 2,500 bonus Club Carlson points and up to 30% off stays at certain Club Carlson brands. Like Radisson Blu, Park Inn by Radisson, and more!
The deal is good for stays from April 1, 2017, through June 18, 2017. And could be especially useful for folks traveling outside of the US (like Europe!) where these brands are much more common.
But you must book by March 26, 2017.

Looking for more Club Carlson points? Via Reddit, there’s a new no-annual-fee Club Carlson Rewards card with a 30,000 Club Carlson point sign-up bonus after meeting minimum spending requirements.
The card bonus is being marketed as good for “up to 3 free award nights.”
It’s true the bonus is enough for 3 free nights at a Club Carlson Category 1 hotel of 9,000 Club Carlson points per night. But it’s NOT enough for an award night at nicer Category 4 or higher Club Carlson hotels.
The Sign-Up Bonus From the No-Annual-Fee Club Carlson Rewards Card Is Worth 3 Free Nights at a Category 1 Club Carlson Hotel, Like the Country Inn & Suites in Tulsa, Oklahoma
